USING AUTOMOTION
2) Select a property type from the tabs across the top of the panel:
- Position (Relative) – enter the number of pixels that will be moved
- Scale (Relative) – enter the percentage that will be scaled
- Rotation (Absolute) – enter the exact degrees of rotation
- Opacity (Absolute) – enter the exact percentage of opacity
- Animate In – The value entered is the starting value, what you see on stage is the ending value of that animation. For Position, entering [-50] starts left 50 pixels and moves right to the position seen on stage, ie 490px to 540px.
- Animate Out – The value entered is the end value, what you see on stage is the starting value of that animation. For Scale, entering [10] starts with the scale seen on stage and animates to 10% greater than that, ie 100% moves to 110%.
- Animate Throughout – The value entered will animate over the duration of your layer as seen in your timeline. For Rotation, entering [5] starts with the degrees seen in the comp, then rotates 5 degrees clockwise.
- Default is 1. This only applies to Animate In or Animate Out. If you select Animate Throughout the duration is the length of the clip on the timeline
7) Load properties once you have applied AutoMotion to a layer. Load these properties, adjust the values, then Apply again.
8) Reset the properties within the panel.
