AutoMotion is a panel built to add life to still graphics or locked off shots. It will remove the hindering of sliding keyframes up and down the timeline when doing simple cuts and edits by programming properties based on the in and out point of your layer. You can apply animations to transform properties (position, scale, rotation, opacity) and those animations happen based on your "in-point" and "out-point" of the desired clips.
An understanding of Expressions, the After Effects scripting language, is not required to use this. You simply select the layers, define the properties, then click Apply. The code goes straight to the layers you had selected. You can freely shorten and extend clips, animations stay in tact.
